OUR CAPITATION PLAN FOR DENTALLY FIT PATIENTS.

Denplan Care is a really easy way to spread the cost of all of your routine treatment into affordable monthly payments, reducing the chance of receiving unexpected dental bills.

This plan will cover your regular check-ups and hygiene visits with your dental team, as well as any restorative treatment you may need.

Insurance: For 60p extra per month

Your Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover insurance includes: worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover.

WHAT IS IT?

Denplan Care is a comprehensive preventive and restorative oral healthcare plan that includes optional Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover cover. The monthly fee is set depending on the patient’s oral health. You can only join Denplan Care if you are dentally fit – this will be assessed at your initial consultation.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

Dental check-ups (as clinically necessary).
Dental hygiene visits (as clinically necessary).
Dental X-rays.
Necessary fillings.
Necessary extractions.
Periodontal treatment.
Preventive dental advice and therapy.
Crowns, dentures and bridgework (excluding lab fees).
Root canal treatment (optional).

WHY CHOOSE DENPLAN CARE?

Allows patients to budget for their routine and restorative oral care needs.
Helps you prevent dental problems before they start.
Optional worldwide Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?

Any outstanding treatment to reach dental health.
Lab fees/prescriptions.
Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
Treatment carried out anywhere else except treatment is covered by the worldwide Denplan Supplementary.
Insurance.
Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment.
Sedation fees.
Extraction of wisdom teeth.
Treatment not clinically necessary.

* When you’re within 40 miles of your registered Denplan provider, you should speak to your practice regarding the emergency dental care agreements in place for you outside of normal surgery hours.

TOXIN REDUCTION

We aim to be an ‘amalgam-free’ practice and are committed to lower the environmental impact from the use of industrial mercury, which is a constituent of dental amalgam fillings.

SAFE USE & DISPOSAL OF CHEMICALS

We have special equipment such as safe filters in our suction and waste pipes to minimise our patient’s exposure to mercury when old dental metal fillings have to be taken out.

ENERGY CONSERVATION

In every area of our practice we have embraced the latest technology and installed the latest heating, insulation and energy recycling processes to significantly lower the energy consumption of the practice.

I came to St Mawes Dental with a number of quite serious issues arising from being a lifetime dentist-dodger. My aversion is a result of treatment in childhood by either a negligent or sadistic practitioner and my fear of dentists is off the chart. I am an 'extreme dental phobic'. Or at least I was until last Tuesday, which was when Nina and her dental nurse Lauren took me in hand and administered my first filling in 50 years. I'm not saying it was easy -either for me or them, it certainly wasn't- but they did it. They gave a me a pain-free, trauma-free, laughter-filled experience (no, there was no gas) which had me exiting the dentist more or less doing a jig.What a team, a double-act in every sense!The professionalism of the dentistry in this practice is a given, it shines with its own light. What is truly outstanding is the care, warmth, humour and patience of the people working there. Within an hour of getting home I had emailed to make my next dental appointment, something I have not done (barring emergency extractions) in an entire lifetime.

Visited Nina and her team a few years as an emergency appointment through the emergency dentist system to have a tooth extracted, was really hapoy with how i was treated. Have had a checkup and fillings, was made to feel relaxed and was very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing, professional service which cares.

I cannot recommend St Mawes Dental enough. I have recently had 2 difficult tooth extractions and Nina has done an incredible job. I had the pleasure of working alongside Nina today as an agency nurse with Elevate. I can honestly say it was the best day In surgery I've had in a long time. Unbelievable service! A very kind, professional dentist . Explained every step beforehand, it made a massive difference! . The girls today saved me! Ive broken my back, had 2 kids and stepped on lego but none of that matched the dental pain i was suffering. Their emergency treatment was fast, efficent and cheap! I was totally terrified but they were so warm, friendly and reassuring and i left pain free. Sorry for nearly breaking your hand but thank you for removing my tooth.Made the journey from St Austell to St Mawes worth while. XxxxX

A few months back I went here for an emergency dentist appointment. The staff was very friendly and kept the place very clean! I was getting an infected tooth removed and the dentist doing this was very understanding and also explained everything that was going to happen. She understood my anxiety and helped me deal with it. She also made sure that I would be comfortable during the entire thing! So thank you for everything and I reccomend that you book here!

Thank you so much!!!!!!I had to book an emergancy appointment due to having some agonising tooth pain. St Mawes got me in next day. I am a very anxious patient after having a recent tooth extraction cause intense pain. However I didn't feel a thing at St Mawes, I even laughed when it came out because I couldn't believe how much I had worked myself up about it. The team were excellent, friendly, informative and quick. 10/10 on all counts.This experience has completely numbed my anxeity towards dental work. If you have an appointment here, you are in excellent hands.

OMG !! What an ease I felt going into that positive and very humours atmosphere. Almost completely distracted from the tooth they were currently ripping from my jaw at the time.
