Notice to patients from Dr Nina Khaira, Clinical Director
Due to the vulnerable demographic of our patients and the close proximity in which we work, I have taken the unprecedented decision to close the practice for potentially the next 3 months.
If you have a dental emergency please call 07516 391333 for a telephone assessment.
The practice will only reopen to treat dental emergencies which have been assessed by myself.
As a team, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue to provide our usual high standard of dental care for you.
Thank you for your support in keeping everyone safe.
With best wishes,
Dr Nina Khaira.
CLINICAL DIRECTOR, ST MAWES DENTAL.
I have been a patient at the dental surgery in St Mawes for 29 years. I have always been treated with the greatest professionalism.
Reducing our impact on the environment
At St Mawes Dental, we believe we can work together to preserve the resources of the planet, use products and materials which respect the environment and contribute to environmental protection above and beyond our operation.
We aim to be an 'amalgam-free' practice and are committed to lower the environmental impact from the use of industrial mercury, which is a constituent of dental amalgam fillings.
SAFE USE & DISPOSAL OF CHEMICALS
We have special equipment such as safe filters in our suction and waste pipes to minimise our patient's exposure to mercury when old dental metal fillings have to be taken out.
In every area of our practice we have embraced the latest technology and installed the latest heating, insulation and energy recycling processes to significantly lower the energy consumption of the practice.
