I would like to:

Many people associate dentures with elderly patients who have lost all of their teeth.

However, that’s far from the case. Dentures are more common than you may think and are worn by patients of all ages.

Advances in dental technology have meant that we can offer you a denture appliance that fits snugly into your mouth, looks natural, and helps restore your smile.

Most appropriate for people with a number of missing teeth, dentures are removable, easy to clean and a great way to restore your appearance and confidence. They are also a cost-effective alternative to dental implants.

As well as being held in place with a special denture adhesive, there is also the option to support your denture with dental implants, so you don’t have to worry about them slipping out of place. Contact us to discuss what option is best for you.

If you are missing two or more teeth in a row, you may benefit from a partial denture, which is held in place with metal clips or dental implants. If, however, you have lost all of your upper or lower teeth, a complete or full denture might be required.

SAFE USE & DISPOSAL OF CHEMICALS

We have special equipment such as safe filters in our suction and waste pipes to minimise our patient’s exposure to mercury when old dental metal fillings have to be taken out.

In every area of our practice we have embraced the latest technology and installed the latest heating, insulation and energy recycling processes to significantly lower the energy consumption of the practice.

The girls today saved me! Ive broken my back, had 2 kids and stepped on lego but none of that matched the dental pain i was suffering. Their emergency treatment was fast, efficent and cheap! I was totally terrified but they were so warm, friendly and reassuring and i left pain free. Sorry for nearly breaking your hand but thank you for removing my tooth.Made the journey from St Austell to St Mawes worth while. XxxxX

A few months back I went here for an emergency dentist appointment. The staff was very friendly and kept the place very clean! I was getting an infected tooth removed and the dentist doing this was very understanding and also explained everything that was going to happen. She understood my anxiety and helped me deal with it. She also made sure that I would be comfortable during the entire thing! So thank you for everything and I reccomend that you book here!

You can see all the patients really like going there. Basically the dentist patient relationship definitely deserves the 5 stars on its on. I am a very anxious patient after having a recent tooth extraction cause intense pain. However I didn't feel a thing at St Mawes, I even laughed when it came out because I couldn't believe how much I had worked myself up about it. The team were excellent, friendly, informative and quick. 10/10 on all counts.This experience has completely numbed my anxeity towards dental work. If you have an appointment here, you are in excellent hands.

OMG !! What an ease I felt going into that positive and very humours atmosphere. Almost completely distracted from the tooth they were currently ripping from my jaw at the time.
