Private Fees

These fees are reviewed on 1st March and 1st September every year.

Private patients are politely reminded that missed appointments or late cancellations are chargeable.

New patient consultation

At this visit we will take a detailed history of your previous dental treatment before discussing your personal dental needs and requests. This is a full Oral Health Assessment which will include the following;

1. Detailed dental history including a discussion of your personal dental needs and requests
2. Full medical history.
3. An extra-oral examination including an examination of your salivary glands and lymph nodes in your head and neck
4. An examination of your jaw and jaw joint (Temporo mandibular joint)
5. An examination of the soft tissues lining your mouth (Oral Cancer Screen)
6. An Oral Cancer Risk Assessment
7. Clinical examination of your teeth.
8. Clinical charting of your existing restorations.
9. Periodontal examination to establish the health of your gums.
10. Examination of your bite and chewing efficiency (Occlusal assessment)
11. Recommendation of any appropriate X-ray examinations of your teeth and jaw bones (at additional cost)
12. Appropriate special tests such as vitality testing
13. We will then give you feedback on all our findings before giving you advice on how to maintain or improve your oral health.

Any treatment required will be discussed along with the fees involved.

Routine dental examination & health assessment

Discussion on your personal dental needs along with the 12 checks detailed above.

Hygiene appointment

Our dentist carries out the maintenance of the health of your gums. It will involve the following;

1. Recording the existing health of your gums.
2. Disclosing any relevant plaque/tartar deposits.
3. Removal of any plaque/tartar deposits from roots and crowns of teeth.
4. Removal of staining on teeth
5. Instruction on how to improve/maintain the health of your gums.
6. Recommendations on oral hygiene products.
7. Recommendations on frequency of future visits.

Both appointments in the same visit.

Anti-wrinkle treatments & Dermal Fillers Initial consultation

*Your £50 consultation fee is redeemable if you decide to proceed with treatment within 30 days of the consultation date.
